01Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Profile it's website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Profile it ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a minor, you confirm that you are their parent, guardian, or an authorized school representative.

02Eligibility and accounts

The Service is intended primarily for students, with accounts created or supervised by a parent, guardian, or school administrator where the student is a minor. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and to keep that information up to date.

03Your content

"User Content" means certificates, photos, videos, projects, and any other material you upload to the Service. You retain ownership of your User Content. By uploading it, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process it solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service — including organizing it into your portfolio, generating progress graphs, and enabling permitted sharing with your school or organization.

You are solely responsible for the User Content you upload. You represent that you have the necessary rights to upload it and that it does not infringe any third party's rights or violate any law.

04Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent certificates or records
• Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes another person's rights
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any school or organization
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Use automated means to scrape, extract, or collect data from the Service without permission
• Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations

05Schools and organizations

If you use the Service as a school, batch, or organization administrator, you are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate authority and consent to manage student accounts and view their records. Organizations may view portfolio and score data of students linked to them for legitimate educational purposes only, and agree not to misuse or further disclose such data without proper authorization.

06Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, features, graphics, logos, and underlying software, is owned by Profile it or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for your User Content, nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without our prior written consent.

07Third-party services

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services (such as hosting, analytics, or authentication providers). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party services, and your use of them is at your own discretion and risk.

08Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

09Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Profile it and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct that could harm the Service, other users, or third parties. You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Nashik, Maharashtra.
